  •  ISBN: An ISBN is an International Standard Book Number. ISBNs were 10 digits in length up to the end of December 2006, but since 1 January 2007 they now always consist of 13 digits. ISBNs are calculated using a specific mathematical formula and include a check digit to validate the number.        The ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is your book's identificationnumber or fingerprint. It is a 13-digit number, not a bar code. ... They are essential for sales to bookstores, for online sales, and for listing in databases and directories such as Books in Print. An ISBN tells a lot about your book. INDEX: In a book or set of books) an alphabetical list of names, subjects, etc. with reference to the pages on which they are mentioned./ a sign or measure of something.
  • NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL: A Journal is declared as a national or international journal based on its level of circulation. But, journals with an ISSN may generally be considered as an international journal.
  • REVIEW: a formal assessment of something with the intention of instituting change if necessary/ a critical appraisal of a book, play, film, etc. published in a newspaper or magazine.
  • REFEREED : Peer-reviewed (refereed or scholarly) journals - Articles are written by experts and are reviewed by several other experts in the field before the article is published in the journal in order to insure the article's quality. (The article is more likely to be scientifically valid, reach reasonable conclusions, etc.)
  • CITATION : a quotation from or reference to a book, paper, or author, especially in a scholarly work/ a mention of a praiseworthy act in an official report, especially that of a member of the armed forces in wartime.
  •  CITATION INDEX:  is a kind of bibliographic index, an index of citations between publications, allowing the user to easily establish which later documents cite which earlier documents.
  • IF: Impact Factors are used to measure the importance of a journal by calculating the number of times selected articles are cited within the last few years. The higher the impact factor, the more highly ranked the journal. It is one tool you can use to compare journals in a subject category.
  • DOUBLE-BLIND PEER REVIEW: Journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
  • PEER REVIEW: PR  is the evaluation of work by one or more people with similar competences as the producers of the work (peers). ... In academia, scholarly peer review is often used to determine an academic paper's suitability for publication.
  • CONSULTANCY: a professional practice that gives expert advice within a particular field./ 
  • MOU: The Memorandum of Understanding or MOU is the performance agreement between two or more parties wherein they agree on the common lines of action.
